1 head lettuce (Boston, red or green, iceberg, romain) (sa lach)

Condiments are easy and simple to make. They do not need many ingredients like a main dish. They come in a small amounts and act like accompanying musical instruments to a larger orchestra. Although they have subordinate roles, in Vietnamese cuisine they are both important and essential. Lacking these condiments, your dishes will be substantially less tasty, perhaps even ruined.
